Byton M-Byte Concept
Byton is set to re-define automotive infotainment experiences. Cars will make the jump from mere appliances to parts of inter-connected digial ecosystems. With a focus on digital technologies, it is natual that even the show car already featured advanced functionality like live 3D maps, facial user recognition, gesture recognition and even the ability to control the seats from a smartphone via Bluetooth!
The second-generation Audi A1 brings premium infotainment to the supermini segment.
With with the new traffic jam pilot, the new Audi A8 is set to become the world's first level 3 self-driving capable vehicle. It also introduces Audi's new touchscreen interface, which will be rolled out to other Audi models at a later date.
The updated Karma Revero received the infotainment update it deserved. If features a responsive user interface with probably the most artsy automotive UI design out there.
The upgraded Porsche infotainment system was a side-project, where I focused on computer graphics and process optimization.
The Full (center display) version of Audis second Modular Infotainment Platform fully debuted in Audis bread-and-butter vehicle A4 and was later rolled out to all of Volkswagen Group's mid-range to high-end infotainment systems. It's available with a version of the Audi Virtual Cockpit, integrating with the main infotainment unit, enabling the display of, for example, two maps at the same time.
The third-generation Audi TT and second-generation R8 feature a radical approach to infotainment: The instrument cluster displays all infotainment related content, including media, navigation, communication, weather, TV and social media.
